Shortly thereafter, on September 7, Dr. Sandesh Marathe, an esteemed alumnus in biotechnology, delivered an enlightening lecture on career opportunities in the field. Our students also showcased their research prowess at Avishkar 2022 on September 13, with Varun Kanojiya presenting his innovative work on bioplastics derived from starch. Our commitment to academic integrity was reinforced during a workshop on plagiarism held on September 14, led by Ankush Kulkarni and attended by our staff members Rajashri, Asmita, and Komal. Esteemed visits by Dr. R.R. Tahakik and Mr. Bapusaheb Shinde on September 15 and August 26 respectively, further enriched our academic environment. Significant student involvement was evident during the Ozone Day celebration on September 16, where creative poster presentations and rangoli competitions were held. Moreover, on March 16, our students participated in National Vaccination Day by crafting thematic rangolis, emphasizing public health awareness. A substantial educational initiative was our "Skill Enhancement Workshop" from October 10-12, 2022, engaging 40 senior students under the aegis of the Incubation Cell, and concluding with constructive feedback. Additionally, a pivotal industrial visit to Biome Technology Pvt Ltd on November 25, provided practical insights to our 61 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Furthermore, the department organized career guidance sessions and a laboratory visit for 12th standard students from Ahmednagar College on November 14 and 16. National Science Day on February 28, 2023, was marked by a quiz competition, celebrating the achievements of students like Neha and Lokesh Shinde.
